Free Music For Schools About The Scheme

What is Free Music for Schools?

Free Music for Schools is a scheme which aims to help schools in Bolton gain additional funding to buy musical instruments and equipment. With the help of parents and children, schools can collect vouchers given out at HW Music to use as payment towards anything from instruments to teaching books, sheet music, accessories, PA systems and everything the UK's largest independent music store has to offer.

Who can use the vouchers?

Primary and secondary schools with a Bolton postcode can register to take part in the promotion and then be eligible to use the vouchers to buy virtually anything from the vast range of musical equipment HW Music have to offer.

What can I buy?

The vouchers can be used as full or part payment for the purchase of virtually anything the shop has to offer. To find information about the products, visit www.hwmusic.co.uk. By registering your school to be part of the scheme you will get a password that will give you access to educational prices on the HW Music website.

How do I collect the vouchers?

Parents, children or anyone who knows of a school which has registered to take part in the scheme, can collect vouchers from HW Music (180-198 St. Georges Road, Bolton, BL1 2PH). They will receive a voucher for every £20 they spend at the store to the value of 5% of their purchase. For example, if they spend £40, they will have a £2 voucher to donate to a school.

How can I win musical instruments for my school?

All your school needs to do is register a few simple details with HW Music and they will automatically be entered into the draw to win loads of free music equipment.
